Delivery
In the Netherlands, we ship all our packages with PostNL. Your order will be attempted to be delivered twice and then deposited at the nearest post office. If you're unsure about the whereabouts of your package, we can retrieve the track & trace number for you and potentially send it to you.
Delivery Time
When will my order be delivered?
In general, we deliver within 2 working days after payment to the delivery address you provided. Once your order has been dispatched, you'll receive an email from us confirming the shipment. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee an exact date or time for the delivery of a package, as this is in the hands of the PostNL parcel delivery service.
Occasionally, the product you ordered may need to be specially made or may no longer be in stock. In such cases, it may take 2 to 3 weeks before we can deliver it to your home. We will inform you of this via email and ask if you agree.
Shipping Costs Netherlands
How much are the shipping costs?
For orders with a value of less than 35.00 euros, we charge 7.50 euros. These costs will be clearly displayed during the ordering process so you know the total amount to be paid.
Order Status
What is the status of my order?
We work with PostNL and can track your shipment from the moment the package leaves our warehouse.
Once your order has been dispatched, you'll receive an email from us.
If PostNL fails to deliver the package to you or your neighbors, the package will automatically be held for three weeks at the nearest Post Office or service point. You will, of course, receive a notification so you can pick up your package at a time that suits you.
Delivery to Another Address
Can I have my order delivered to a different address?
Yes, you can. During your order, you can indicate that you want it delivered to a different address. This can be your work address, for example, if it's more convenient for you.
What Happens if I'm Not Home During Delivery?
If PostNL fails to deliver the package to your home, it will be handed over to one of your neighbors. If that's not possible either, it will be attempted to be delivered again the next day. If delivery to you or your neighbors is still not possible, the package will automatically be held for three weeks at the nearest Post Office or service point. You will receive a notification so you can pick up your package at a time that suits you.
Pick-up
Can I pick up my order myself?
Certainly, Dekbedexpress is the webshop of Waardenburg Wonen & Slapen - active in bedding and duvets for over 45 years. We are located at Molenstraat 5, 2712 XG in Zoetermeer.
During the ordering process, you can indicate that you want to pick up the order at our store.
We'll make sure you receive an email when your order is ready.
Our opening hours are:
- Sunday and Monday: Closed
- Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday: 9:30 am - 6:00 pm
- Friday: 9:30 am - 9:00 pm
- Saturday: 9:30 am - 4:30 pm
Abroad
Can I order if I live outside the Netherlands?
Yes, you can. Even if you live abroad, you can order from us. We work with several parcel delivery services and will find the most advantageous one for each location.
We have already shipped packages to Belgium, Germany, Portugal, USA, Denmark, France, Taiwan, Singapore, Australia, England, Latvia & Canada. Some of these countries are already listed in our system, so you can immediately see the shipping costs.
If your country is not listed, please send us an email (info@dekbedexpress.nl) with your desired order, and we will try to offer you the best possible deal, including shipping costs.
This is also convenient if you have a second home or vacation home abroad; you can have these items delivered directly to your vacation address!
